my Brown and Pieter Aldrich in third set tie-breakers.
Moved from No. 992T to No. 420T on the ATP computer rankings following
Stratton Mountain.
Two-time doubles All-America at the University of Southern California in
1987-88. All singles All-America in 1988. Teamed with Scott Melville to
reach the NCAA semifinals and finished the year as the No. 1 ranked doubles
team in the country.
Ranked No. 1 in Boys' 14s in 1980, No. 2 in Boys' 16s in 1982 and No. 5
in Boys' 18s in 1984. Won 12 singles and doubles junior titles.
