The second-round action at the 2025 Australian Open starts Wednesday with record 10-time champion Novak Djokovic and four-time major winner Carlos Alcaraz headlining the action at Melbourne Park.

Djokovic, who is teaming with coach Andy Murray in Melbourne, will face Portuguese qualifier Jaime Faria in the day session on Rod Laver Arena, while third seed Alcaraz takes on Yoshihito Nishioka in the second match on Margaret Court Arena. Djokovic and Alcaraz are seeded to meet in the quarter-finals.

It All Adds Up

Alexander Zverev will continue the quest for his first major in the night session on Rod Laver Arena. The German takes on Spaniard Pedro Martinez. Casper Ruud headlines the night session on Margaret Court Arena in the match of the day. The sixth seeds plays #NextGenATP Czech Jakub Mensik.

In other action, Jack Draper takes on Thanasi Kokkinakis in the twilight session on John Cain Arena, with Sebastian Korda and Felix Auger-Aliassime both in action on Kia Arena. Korda plays Aleksandar Vukic, Auger-Aliassime takes on Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
