ATP Tour Community Guidelines

Community Social Media Policy

We are proud of our social media community – a place where we share our passion for tennis, our interests and points of view. This is the space where to make your voice heard. We have a zero-tolerance policy on discrimination, abuse or bullying of any kind and we will take appropriate action to any comments or posts that do not meet our guidelines – from deleting, to blocking or reporting.

To ensure a positive and safe environment for all our community we are outlining the following requirements.

What we encourage

  • Respectful debate and discussion
  • A positive, inclusive and supportive environment for all to come together and interact
  • To hear your opinions and voice, even if they generate healthy disagreement
  • Relevant and topical conversations

What we will not tolerate

  • Discrimination of any kind, including racism, homophobia, sexism
  • Use of bad language and swear words
  • Insulting, threatening, defamatory, libellous or obscene posts or comments
  • Unlawful posts or comments
  • Spam, links to unrelated content or self-promotion
  • Targeted bullying, personal attacks or abuse towards an individual
  • Posting of adverts or the promotion of commercial products or services
  • Comments that breach any of the terms of the social media platforms themselves

Community monitoring

Our team closely monitors our online communities across all digital platforms and we also use Arwen – a leading provider of social media moderation services – to help ensure the interaction and engagement on our social media channels are in line with our guidelines.

We reserve the right to hide or delete comments that break these guidelines. We will also block or report users who persistently break these guidelines.

Reporting abuse
