The Lexus ATP Head2Head rivalry between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner has become one of the most intriguing matchups in tennis.
They have met on the biggest stages of the sport, including Grand Slams and ATP Masters 1000 events. On Friday, they will face off again in the semi-finals at Roland Garros, where both seek a maiden final at the clay-court major.
Alcaraz and Sinner's rivalry has rapidly become one of the most exciting on Tour in recent years. But where did it all start?
Their first professional meeting came on the ATP Challenger Tour. A 15-year-old Alcaraz faced a 17-year-old Sinner in Alicante in April 2019. The tournament's draw also featured former Top 10 player Tommy Robredo and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina among others.
