Personal

• Born in Guayaquil on April 8, 1955. Colon played all South American Championships and represented Ecuador in Davis Cup. He loves to teach tennis from young kids to pros. He enjoys playing golf, loves the ocean and swimming. Helps grown tennis in Ecuador and is the sponsor of ECUAJUNIORS Tennis Championships.
• He is married to Maria Elena Nunez and has 4 children, Maria Paula, Eric (former ATP player and now a National Coach for the USTA), Claudia and Sergio.
