    • Broke through to capture his first ATP Tour title in 2023 Mallorca (d. Mannarino) and jumped from No. 77 into Top 50 atNo. 43 on 3 July 2023. Saved 5 match pts. in SF win over Harris. Then followed with a QF effort in his Wimbledon main draw debut, posting wins over No. 12 Norrie (2R) and No. 5 Tsitsipas (4R) for 1st Top 10 victory beforelosing to No. 3 Medvedev in 5 sets. Afterwards, climbed to No. 31 ranking. Then reached a career-high No. 29 on 31 July after QF in hometown Atlanta event.
    • Has earned a personal-best 19wins in 2023 and made his Top 100 debut at age 26 in April 2023.
    • Came from qualifying to defeat No. 20 Coric for first Top 20 win en route to 1st ATP Masters 1000 QF at 2023 Miami (l. to eventual champion Medvedev) to guarantee himself a spot in the Top 100.
    • Defeated countrymen Fritz and Donaldson in his hometown for 1st ATP Tour wins en route to 2017 Atlanta QF as WC.
    • Qualified a career-best 5 times in 2022 at Doha, Indian Wells, Newport, US Open and San Diego.
    • Beat then-No. 106 Auger-Aliassime en route to qualifying at 2019 Australian Open and Martinez for 1st Grand Slam main draw win at 2022 US Open.
    • Won Challenger titles at 2018 Leon, 2021 Orlando-2 and 2021 Knoxville, then ended 2022 season on 11-3 run.
    • Has a 103-73 career Challenger record, including 98-69 on hard courts and 3 titles.
    • Played college tennis at Georgia Tech from 2015-17 and was a 2-time All-American and 2-time ACC Player of the Year.
