    • Moved from Montenegro to Canada at age 3.
    • Began playing tennis at age 8.
    • Father, Dusan and mother, Vesna, are both engineers; sister, Jelena; brother, Momir.

    • Joined Tennis Canada's National Training Centre in Montreal when it opened in 2007.
    • Voted 2011 ATP Newcomer of the Year by his fellow players.
    • Founded Milos Raonic Foundation in 2012 to help disadvantaged youth. Received ATP ACES for Charity $15,000 grant in 2016, which foundation matched for a total of $30,000.
    • Named QMI Agency Canadian Male Athlete of the Year in 2012, Sportsnet's 2013 Canadian Athlete of the Year and Lionel Conacher Award recipient in 2013 and 2014.

    • Fan of FC Barcelona, Toronto Raptors (NBA) and Toronto Blue Jays (MLB).

    • Underwent right hip surgery in 2011, right foot surgery in 2015 and left wrist surgery in 2017. Also struggled with Achilles, back, elbow, glute, thigh, right ankle, right calf and right knee injuries in recent years.

    • Ended 2016 at career-high No. 3 after earning personal-best 52 wins and reaching Nitto ATP Finals SF (l. to No. 1 Murray after holding 1 MP).
    • Became 1st Canadian to break into Top 10 in 2013, then won 1st All-Canadian final in Open Era at 2014 Washington (d. Pospisil).
    • Advanced to 10 Grand Slam QFs and 3 Grand Slam SFs, beating Federer in 5 sets to become 1st Canadian Grand Slam men’s singles finalist at 2016 Wimbledon.
    • Earned biggest win of career over No. 2 Federer at 2014 Paris en route to 2nd of his 4 ATP Masters 1000 finals.
    • Played 77tournaments and advanced to 7 finals since 8th and most recent ATP Tour title at 2016 Brisbane (d. Federer).
    • Returned to action in June 2023 in 's-Hertogenbosch after being sidelined for nearly 2 years due to injuries(last played in July 2021 in Atlanta).
