ATP Tour competition returned to Hong Kong in 2024 with the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open. IThe tournament, which in 2024 was played for the first time since 2002, has a rich history. Former champions include Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Michael Chang, Rod Laver, Ken Rosewall, Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, Jim Courier and Juan Carlos Ferrero. Andrey Rublev triumphed in 2024 and Alexandre Muller won in 2025.
