Top seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, who are tied atop the PIF ATP Doubles Rankings, will begin their pursuit of a maiden major men’s doubles title against home favourites Adrian Mannarino and Fabrice Martin.
There are plenty of interesting first-round matches to keep an eye on. Third seeds Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury play Madrid finalists Ariel Behar and Adam Pavlasek, 14th seeds Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow face a tough opening test against Thanasi Kokkinakis and Denis Shapovalov, eighth seeds Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni take on Lloyd Glasspool and Jean-Julien Rojer and Dustin Brown and Frances Tiafoe play Marcus Daniell and Mackenzie McDonald.
