Personal

Tennis idol is Rafael Nadal. Shelbayh has trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar for more than five years.
His best friend is Daniel Rincon, the 2021 US Open boys' singles champion. The pair advanced to the final of the Wimbledon boys' doubles event in 2022.
Shelbayh becamethe first player representing Jordan to play an ATP Tour or Grand Slam main draw match in Doha in 2023.
In Banja Luka in 2023, he becamethe first player representing Jordan to win an ATP Tour match.
Attended University of Florida for one year. He competed on the same team as Ben Shelton and under the tutelage of Shelton's father, former Top 100 pro Bryan Shelton.
