Frenchman won a career-best 5 titles in as many finals in 2023 w/S. Gonzalez in their first full season together (played twice in 2022). Won ATP Masters 1000 titles at Miami and added another in Paris. Has won at least 1 ATP Tour title for 12 consecutive years going back to 2012 and has 28 overall tour-level doubles titles with 11 different partners.
Broke into doubles Top 10 after capturing 2014 Roland Garros title w/Benneteau, then peaked at No. 6 in November 2014. Qualified for Nitto ATP Finals that year and reached SF.
Owns 0-4 finals record in London, finishing runner-up at 2016 Wimbledon w/Benneteau, 2017 London/Queen’s Club w/Benneteau, 2019 Wimbledon w/Mahut and 2020 Nitto ATP Finals w/Melzer. Also 3-4 in ATP Masters 1000 finals and won his first title at 2015 Cincinnati w/Nestor.
Stopped playing singles in 2016 after peaking at No. 35 in 2014, reaching finals at 2013 Delray Beach and 2014 Chennai, and qualifying at Wimbledon on 5 occasions.
