Nicknamed Spizz and started playing tennis at age 5 at a club in Greenwich, Conn.

Began playing under the instruction of Patrick Hirscht at around 8 years old and has worked with him ever since. Says, "Patrick has been my coach for my whole life and he turned me into the player I am today."
Attended a private school until 8th grade and then did online through high school to allow myself to travel more and play the junior Grand Slam tournaments. Then enrolled at the University of Texas in January 2020.
Twin brother, Nicholas, is a huge inspiration and one of the top squash players in the country at University of Penn. Says, "We have pushed each other a ton from a young age." Also has another brother, Alex.
On his college experience, says, "My time at the University of Texas has been amazing and helped shape me into the person and player I am today."
During his teenage years, trained part-time at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows.
His best shot is his forehand and hard courts his favorite surface.
Favorite tournament is Wimbledon and tennis idol is 8-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer.
Hobbies are fishing and playing golf.
Favorite food is lobster and secret talent is Ping Pong.

Making his ATP Tour main draw debut in 2023 Newport as a wild card.
Completed his junior year at University of Texas in 2023 and finished as No. 1 player in singles and No. 2 in doubles in ITA collegiate rankings. Became 2nd player from Texas to finish No. 1 in singles rankings, behind Steve Bryan in 1990. Also named 2023 ITA National Player of the Year and All-American in singles and doubles. Reached singles quarter-finals and doubles runner-up (w/Cleeve Harper) at 2023 NCAA Championships.
Has a 14-11 career record on ITF World Tennis Tour with title at 2021 Decatur, Illinois and won doubles title w/Shelton at 2021 Champaign ITF World Tennis Tour event.
Teamed with Tyler Zink to win doubles title at 2019 US Open junior championships. Played singles and doubles in all 4 junior Grand Slam tournaments that year, reaching 3R in doubles in each event. Best singles result was 2R at Australian Open.
