    Began playing tennis at age nine.
    Won the Swedish 18-under doubles championship (w/Nyborg) in 1987. Teamed
    with countryman David Engel to win the Swedish Championship in January 1988.
    Missed three and one-half months with a left wrist injury from May to
    September in 1989.
    Enjoys playing indoor floor hockey (innebandy) along with several
    countrymen.
    In the first six months of 1994, had already surpassed his previous
    career prize money, mostly in doubles (nearly $200,000 alone). Advanced to
    his first career Grand Slam final at the French Open (w/Bjorkman), losing to
    Black-Stark. Also advanced to his first career ATP Tour semifinal in singles
    at Queen's in June 1994.
