    • Started playing tennis at age 5 in hometown of Bell Ville.
    • Played both football and tennis until age 12.
    • Moved to Barcelona in 2014, at age 19, to train with former World No. 2 Alex Corretja.
    • Biggest influence is Corretja: "His impact on my career is immense. He taught me how to be a professional tennis player, from Day 1. We are still very close and I would not be here today if not for him."
    • Father, Pedro Pablo, works in the commercial phone industry; mother, Graciela, is a pediatrician; sister, Catalina (one year older), works in general medicine.
    • Biggest passion outside tennis is cooking: "I love food and gastronomy. Cooking and eating everything from exotic foods to Spanish food, is exciting to me."
    • Favourite food is Argentine asado (barbeque).
    • A perfect day without tennis would include cooking and eating "as much as possible", relaxing at home with his girlfriend, family and dog 'Tango', and drinking Mate tea.
    • Enjoys listening to cuarteto, a musical genre from his home province of Cordoba.
    • Favourite athlete is football legend Lionel Messi.
    • Suffered fracturedvertebrae in upper back in 2016.

    • After debuting in Top 200 in September 2015, broke into Top 150 in June 2022 and Top 100 in July 2022 before breaking Top 50 with at No. 48 on 7 August 2023 following 1st ATP Tour title in Gstaad (d. Ramos-Vinolas)..
    • Best ATP Masters 1000 result came at 2023 Madrid where he beat No. 11 Tiafoe in 3R for biggest win of career before losing to [LL] Struff in 4R.
    • Won 5th-set TBs over Bedene and Holt to reach 2022 US Open 3R.
    • Defeated Norrie and Carreno Busta en route to 1st ATP Tour QF at 2019 Cordoba as Q.
    • Posted 38-11 Challenger record in 2022 (4-3 in finals), winning clay-court titles at Madrid, Prague-2, Todi and Santo Domingo.
    • Achieved career-high No. 8 in junior rankings, defeating future ATP No. 5 Rublev en route to 4th ITF Junior Circuit title at 2013 Offenbach.
