    • Father, Ron is a former motocross driver; mother, Monique is a tennis instructor; twin brothers, Scott and Kevin, also played pro tennis.
    • Began playing tennis at age 5, inspired by his brothers, who are 5 years older.
    • "I’ve always had them to look up to," Griekspoor said of his brothers. "They were always better than me until a certain age. I would always practise with them, travel with them. Having that sports background means a lot."
    • Moved to Belgium at age 17 to train with former Top-30 player Kristof Vliegen.

    • Idol growing up was Andy Murray: "The work he puts in, it's amazing to see for me. What he achieved in the time of Rafa and Roger and Novak, it's amazing. I like his attitude on court. He can go nuts, but the next point he's fighting like 200 percent. The drive he has and how hard he works is unbelievable."
    • If he wasn't a tennis player, he would be a Formula 1 driver.
    • Says that Belgian-Dutch driver Max Verstappen is his hero.
    • Favourite athlete is Dutch motocross racer Jeffrey Herlings.
    • "I'm a big, big fan of Motocross," he says."I can't say that I like it more than tennis, but I like it as much as I like tennis. Like my dad, I did it when I was young. Those guys work so hard and it's really physical. The feeling it gives you to ride this fast, it's everything for me."
    • Also enjoys football. Favourite team is AFC Ajax.
    • Favourite superhero is Spider-Man, TV show is Casa de Papel, actor is Paul Walker and musician is Dutch DJ Martin Garrix.
    • Fan of all of the Rocky and Creed movies.

    • Says that kindness is his best quality and lateness is his worst quality.
    • Motivation: "I played Wawrinka in Rotterdam in 2018. It was sold out, with 15,000 people. The energy of the crowd was amazing. This is why I play tennis. To play these big guys. I live for these moments."
    • Best advice received: "My dad would tell me to always work hard no matter where you are in life. Always work hard, be humble and just be yourself."
